After a good
night’s sleep, waking up fresh welcoming the sun through your windows and
trying to bring in movements in every activity you carry out in the day along
with whole foods in the breakfast table, then energy you get throughout the day
is definitely majestic.
Governing all
the above said factors for a great energy levels, do make sure not to miss HYDRATION-
one of the essential contributor for the energy in the body.
Hydration in the body is important for transporting carbohydrates,
vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients and oxygen to the cells. The cells then produce energy
for the body to function.
Water helps to flush out excess toxins, maintains regularity, transports
nutrients and oxygen, and best of all, increases energy and helps fight fatigue.
New research even suggests that middle-aged adults can lower their long-term
risk for heart failure by simply drinking enough water on a daily basis.
Dehydration can affect your mood and make you feel sad, grumpy and
confused. Stay hydrated and feel energized by drinking the recommended amount
of water (typically eight 8-ounce glasses a day). Water stimulates the flow of
nutrients and hormones that release those feel-good endorphins you need to feel
happy.
Hydration is the replacement of body fluids lost through sweating, exhaling, and
eliminating waste. On average, the body loses and needs to replace about 2-3 quarts of
water daily. Luckily, many foods we eat are composed mostly of water. Foods
with high water content include greens and most fruits and vegetables.
While plain water is best for staying hydrated, other drinks and foods can
help, too. Water can be
found in fruits and vegetables (for example, watermelon, tomatoes, and
lettuce), and in soup broths. Fruit and vegetable juices, milk, and herbal teas
add to the amount of water you get each day.
THE REQUIRED DAILY DOSE OF WATER:
For healthy individuals, the
average daily water for men is about 15.5 cups and for women about 11.5 cups.
That might mean you need only four to six cups of plain water, depending on
other fluid sources such as coffee, tea, juice, fruits, and vegetables.
Your body needs to be hydrated to function at its best. If there isn't enough liquid
in your body, essential functions like circulation don't perform as smoothly
and your organs won't get necessary nutrients, resulting in less efficient
performance.
Your body depends on water to survive. Every cell, tissue, and organ in
your body needs water to work properly. For example, your body uses water to
maintain its temperature, remove waste, and lubricate your joints. Good hydration is important
for overall good health.
