For the past
ten days we have been discussing the route to gain full energy to be active throughout
the day and complete the day’s task without any pending.
In this route
we have covered about consistent sleep patterns, movements, sunlight, nature, dance, hydration, whole foods, decluttering, future planning and fresh air.
But today a
very unique point called RESTING -we are going to learn more about it.
Surprising
know! YES, resting will bring us energy.
Really it is. Resting is also a route that will lead us to gain energy.
Let us see
how it is possible to improve energy levels by resting.
RESTING is to stop
being active for a period of time in order to relax and get back your strength.
Foremost resting is- Physical rest helps relieve muscle tension, reduces fatigue,
and promotes overall physical relaxation.
Strenuous workouts cause muscle breakdown, while rest allows our bodies to
build it back up. If there are no growth days in your routine, continuous muscle
breakdown may hinder your progress. Growth days also are the time when our
bodies replenish glycogen levels. Glycogen is the molecule that fuels activity.
Glycogen is a form of energy
stored in muscles. Exercise depletes glycogen levels, which leads to muscle
fatigue. Rest days allow the muscles to replenish their glycogen stores,
thereby reducing muscle
fatigue and preparing the muscles for their next workout.
MORE OVER by allowing our bodies
time to recover, rest helps prevent injuries and improve overall
performance. It also aids
in muscle repair, reduces inflammation, and supports a healthy immune system.
Additionally, rest helps manage stress levels and lowers blood pressure,
contributing to a healthier heart.
Final
word - Although it might seem counterintuitive, according to some researchers,
if we rest properly we will be more productive. Rest should not be a leftover
activity; work and rest are partners. They are like different parts of a wave.
You can't have the high without the low.
Take up
resting option seriously and win high energy levels. For more details on resting,
