PAY ATTENTION TO THIS QUOTE

Read the above quote and searched to know about it. Google states that it is   Cicero's infamous quote, “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need”, was adapted from a letter he wrote requesting a meeting with friend Varro in 46 B.C. Here's the literal translation: “If you have a garden in your library”, he wrote to Varro, “everything will be complete.”

I imagine that there are still many who hold to that simple lifestyle, that calm and gentle life. If the garden is full of flowers, there will be birds and insects and no end of beautiful blooms. If the garden is full of food stock, there will be nearly endless supplies of fruits and vegetables for eating and preserving.

With a library full of books, both the heat of the day as well as the cool of the evenings can spent feeding the mind with the best and most interesting topics your library might contain. And if you have a friend with a library, you might even be able to swap books from time to time

Can this be treated as a minimalist lifestyle?  A minimalist lifestyle is intentionally living with fewer possessions — focusing only on the ones you need. Living with less may be the right choice if you're feeling overwhelmed with clutter, if you're looking for fewer distractions, or if you're looking to cut back on spending.

They have higher life satisfaction and fulfillment, positive functioning, and fewer negative emotions . Another small study of self-identified minimalists found that minimalism has numerous well-being benefits related to autonomy, competence, mental space, awareness, and positive emotions .

In general, minimalism has been found to have a profound impact on mental health, promoting a sense of calm, clarity and overall well-being.
