A BEST BOOK ON BEST BET

Sleeping and resting are the two ways by which our body relaxes itself. While sleeping, the body tries to get rid of all the toxicity inside. Also, it tends to fill the body with new energy for the next day. Whereas resting does the same function as relaxation, this provides immediate relief to the body. It basically slows down the stress points and calms the brain.

While quality sleep is critical to feeling whole, rest is so much more than your nightly hours of shut-eye. Rest involves your whole being, not just your body. With complete and regular rest, you will restore your health, enhance your performance and achieve an amazing sense of wellness.
In this regard I came across a book titled REST by Alex Soojung Kim Pang. The cover in blue colour with an easy chair reveals about the subject dealt in the book and the major topic of discussion. In that I quote "Deliberate rest," as Pang calls it, is the true key to productivity, and will give us more energy, sharper ideas, and a better life. Rest offers a roadmap to rediscovering the importance of rest in our lives, and a convincing argument that we need to relax more if we actually want to get more done.
Why the author felt a need to write  a book on rest ? May be that is an essential factor for well being which is seriously ignored by this fast phase world. That's why Pang encourages individuals to make time for play and creativity. In Rest: Why You Get More Done When You Work Less, he combines neuroscience with examples from influential leaders to prove why time away from work, or “deliberate rest,” is so critical to success. We don't have to conform to a workaholic lifestyle.
This is a sample from the book, Do grab a copy of the book and you are sure to have a guilt free rest.
