6 EASY STEPS TO PREPARE RASAM





1.   Cook Red gram in water till tender

2. Squeeze tamarind in a little water

3. Roast coriander seeds, red chillies, asafoetida, pepper corns, cumin and pound.

4. Mix together the grounded spices with liquid in which the gram was cooked.

5. Add the mashed up gram, tamarind juice and salt to taste.

6. Bring to boil, remove and temper with mustard seeds, garlic, whole red chillies and curry leaves.
