Usually, curry is served as a side dish to sambhar or Rasam. Here is a special sambhar where lemon is used in the place of tamarind.

Sambhar is a dish made out of dal, tamarind, spices and vegetables. For a change and to reap a lot of health benefits replace lemon in the place of tamarind. Lemon is the best source of vitamin C -the antioxidant. The sambhar's taste will be delicious.
