LIFE AFTER ACHIEVING A GOAL

A goal or objective is an idea of the future or desired result that a person or a group of people envision, plan, and commit to achieve. People endeavour to reach goals within a finite time by setting deadlines.

Goal-setting is the process of taking active steps to achieve your desired outcome. Maybe your dream is to become a teacher, musician or physical therapist. Each one of these dreams involves setting and reaching small (and big!) goals.

Setting goals involves identifying the desired outcomes and developing a plan for achieving them. Goals provide a framework for action and direction. They help identify what needs to be done, by when, and why.

One reason that goal setting increases happiness is that goals make you feel more optimistic about the future. When you are optimistic, you are happier, healthier, more resilient, and better able to cope in challenging times. And, if you really believe you will reach your goal, you are more likely to do so.

Goal-setting is important because it provides direction and purpose in life. When you set goals, you identify what you want to achieve and what you need to do to achieve it. It motivates you to take action, whether it's in your personal or professional life, and gives you a sense of control over your future.

In any case, reaching a goal is a box full of learning. With the accomplishment comes not just a sense of achievement but also many valuable lessons. Taking the time to reflect and look back over everything that happened can help you gain even more out of the entire experience.

Performance: Goals help improve your performance by providing you with a clear objective in your career. You can learn valuable skills while achieving goals like the ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems. Motivation: Goals give you something to strive for in your career.

LIFE AFTER ACHIEVING A GOAL:

First, you feel ecstatic that you accomplished what you set out to accomplish! It feels great! Your success is tangible (or visible) and you feel so proud of yourself. And then the feeling fades.

But for many people, making it to the top of whatever figurative mountain they are climbing can actually lead to feelings of emptiness, not elation. Those dopamine infusions stop, the sense of purpose goes away, and many find the empty feeling driving them into a cycle of chasing more and more achievement.

MY IDEA:

When you complete your goal it is important to reward yourself for this achievement. Look back over your accomplishments and enjoy the satisfaction that success brings. This will train the subconscious mind to focus on activities that produce successful results.
