THE NEED TO CARRY LOGIC AND IMAGINATION TOGETHER

In general logic deals with the facts while imagination can open new vistas for future facts.

Logic works in an explained or predetermined periphery where imagination knows no boundary, once the ideation has taken place, logic can further establish the right course of actions and sub-actions, but imagination is the core dynamo and knows no boundary.

Logic is simply defined as a proper or reasonable way of thinking about or understanding something, while imagination, on the other hand, is the ability to form a picture in one's mind of something that one has not seen or experienced.

An essential component of human cognition, imagination is essential to many parts of our life, including creativity, problem-solving, storytelling, and innovation. The capacity to create mental images of concepts, ideas, and events that are not directly perceived by our senses is known as imagination.

Imagination allows us to see things which may not exist in reality, and imagination flavours the world around us.  Creative thinking requires more intellectual effort than logical thinking. This is because being creative engages more parts of the brain across both hemispheres. It involves trying multiple ideas by way of juxtaposing, mixing, and extracting.

Logic is an essential component of human cognition that underpins our ability to reason, make sound judgments, and arrive at informed decisions. It serves as a guiding framework for critical thinking, enabling us to analyze information, evaluate arguments, and draw valid conclusions.

The ability to imagine things pervades our entire existence. It influences everything we do, think about and create. It leads to elaborate theories, dreams and inventions in any profession from the realms of academia to engineering and the arts.

Logic   guides us with step-by-step precision, ensuring efficient problem-solving and rational decision-making. However, logic can be limiting, as it is bound by the constraints of what is already known and understood.

On the other hand, imagination is the fuel that ignites creativity and innovation. Imagination is pivotal for human development, driving creativity, problem-solving, and personal growth. It serves as a mental canvas for innovative ideas, propelling us beyond conventional limits.

Facts only provide a baseline for logic and logic cannot manifest without imagination. Nor is imagination alone logical or viable. You can have all the imagination in the world but if it does not come to a logical conclusion there is no manifestation.

Thus logic and imagination should go hand in hand.
