EXPLORING PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TRANSPORT

Public transportation systems include a variety of transit options such as buses, light rail, and subways. These systems are available to the general public, may require a fare, and run at scheduled times.

Since a public transportation can carry a large number of passengers it reduced the overall fuel consumption. Thus it helps to reduce the air and environmental pollutions. Secondly, more pollution will be generated if we opt to use private cars for transportation.

It is economical as compared to other means of transport. It helps save the environment as there are fewer emissions from public transport vehicles than private cars. It is convenient as you don't have to worry about parking and traffic. It is comfortable as you can sit back and relax while traveling.
Public Transport leads to less air pollution as more people commute via single vehicle eliminating the need to travel by different modes. In some areas, public transport is the only means to commute. It is the only facility for people to travel to different places.
you can enjoy a less stressful journey by letting someone else do the driving. you don't have to worry about finding a parking space. it reduces congestion in towns and cities. using public transport is cheaper than owning and operating a car.
you will save money. Using public transportation can save you up to four times the money you use to travel in your private or personal car. Regular use of your personal car will require maintenance costs and other additional charges such as parking fees, emission fines, and speeding tickets.
Lesser chance of breaking traffic laws. Lesser road accidents (as road accident is one of the major causes of deaths in many countries) People follow a disciplined schedule to board a public transportation mode (not much delay in going to the destination) Depending on public transportation reduces pollution.
Some typical benefits include universal accessibility for most citizens in the city, the absence of car maintenance fees, and being able to lower a community's pollution. Some of the drawbacks, however, include congested trains and buses, and erratic arrival and departure schedules.
In terms of comfort, private transport outweighs public in several ways. You are not bound by the time or designated routes and have full control on the vehicle. This, naturally, makes the journey more comfortable. However, you do have to ride or drive yourself.
Although it has its advantages, public transportation also has a number of problems. Many public transportation vehicles are crowded, for example, which can facilitate the spread of disease. Using public transportation can also be uncomfortable or inconvenient for some.
Both the public and private transportations has their own pros &cons. Use it wisely bearing in mind the long term benefits to humans if  nature & environment are treated in a sensible way.
