TWO GRAND STYLES OF PREPARING BANANA SWEETS

 


Banana is edible fruit of a large tree belonging to the family of the Musaceae, a  native of tropical  Africa, now grown in  most tropical and sub tropical countries. The two different styles of preparing banana ice


Oriental Style:

Peeled, cut in slices, poached lightly in lemon syrup, flavoured with rose water; drained, arranged on almond ice, covered with English cream, garnished with chantilly cream, chopped grilled almonds scattered on top


Swedish Style:

Peeled, diced, macerated with sugar and Swedish punch: filled in tartlet, covered with chantilly cream flavoured with Swedish punch
