LUCK
He worked by day And toiled by night
He gave up play And some delight
Dry books he read,
New things to learn.
And forged ahead,
Success to earn.
He plodded on with faith and pluck;
And when he won,
Men called it luck.

The English word "LUCK" appeared first in 1480's as a loan word from German. In the English Dictionary, Luck is defined as good things that happen to you by chance, not because of your own efforts or abilities.
After reading this poem, I took to the true sense of luck, it is nothing but the hard work, faith , patience and dedication with which if a work is done and no doubt success is definite.
But many go with lucky fish, lucky colour, lucky day, lucky number, and lucky symbol etc. These add some courage and confidence in them and there by they become successful.
Whether you believe in luck or not, the efforts you need to put in must never be stopped.
WISH YOU GOOD LUCK!
