Gifts are the token of Love given to the one by the other. It may be a small button or a branded bag or a designer jewellery. It depends on the financial status of the giver, but the love & affection remains the same for a simple or a costly gift. Those who bring or send gifts from far off lands is a messenger to inform us that we are being remembered by them or they thought of us when they saw that particular item. We need to appreciate the love and affection which they express in this form. Expressing the deep feelings for others differs from one person to the another
Never ever expect anything in a materialistic way in any relationship. Understand their feelings and intentions to have a better compatibility. Gifts are meant to improve the relationship, but not the other way. Accept the gift with same attitude with which it is given. Don't underestimate anyone in any way. Look at their good thoughts and their nice gesture towards you. Never measure Love &affection with money they give or the cost of the gift.
Gifts are just a means to exhibit their likes towards others. Take everything in a positive way and enjoy the gifts sent to you or brought for you. Don't express dislike or reject it. Gifts are brought in the budget affordable to the giver and it is his way of expression.
These days I prefer to give either cash or gift vouchers so that they can buy happily what they want. I don't want to disappoint them with a thing they already have or don't want to have.
