1. This Divya kshetram is located at a height of 1700 feet on the Himalayas at a distance of 70 kms from Rishikesh on the way to Badrinath, where the rivers Alakananda and Bhagirathi merge to form Ganga.

presiding deity is Neelamegha perumal and the goddess pundareegavali
3. The
sacred water is mangala theertham and the santum sanctorum mangala vimanam

temple is also called Raghunathji temple, and the Lord enshrined in this temple
is considered to be the same as in Mathura, salagramam, Dwaraka, & Ayodhya.

are also shrines for Hanuman, Badrinath, Kaala Bhairavaa and Shiva.
6. . Brahma
and Dasaratha are believed to have
worshipped at this shrine.
