7 POINTS ON THE USE OF ARTICLES






 1. We say 'a' before consonant sounds and 'an' before vowel sounds.

4. We use 'a' or 'an' when the person or thing we are talking about is not specific.

5.We use 'a' or 'an' to say what job someone does

6. We use 'a' or 'an' to talk about frequency.

7. We use 'the' when it is clear which person or thing we are talking about.
