SIX TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR GARDEN SAFE DURING MONSOON

 Gardening is a hobby to many. Green plants in pots of various sizes, beautifully grown leaves, colourful flowers are a gift to watch every morning in our backyards or terrace. Gardeners spent a lot of time in maintaining these plants. Especially during the monsoon season, a due attention is highly required to safe guard plants from any damage.
 *  place pots in even surface, not under any water let outs. Provide sufficient space between pots. Never use over size pots or broken ones. They may  get disturbed during rain .
Never water plants after rain,.if any damage has occurred to the plant, act on it immediately to save the plant from further damage.
* Clean the surroundings of the plants and cut off ripen leaves or spoiled ones. Take action to keep the pets away from plants.
* provide adequate space for creepers and supports for climbers.  Make necessary arrangements to safeguard the plants from winds and rain. Keep the creepers away from walking area.
*Never allow excess water to get stagnated around plants. It may disturb the roots and stems.   At regular intervals trim the branches.
* During monsoon more rains and chances of sunlight is less, plants demand both water and light, handle them with at most care and make them grow and live longer.
