CHOOSING CHANDELIERS IS A CHALLENGE

choosing chandeliers is a challenge, which many of us have already dealt with. Here are some points to consider  while buying chandeliers. First of all  Learn to pick the right size of chandelier, how high you should hang it and which style is right for you.

Measure your room's length and width in feet, and add those two numbers together. Then use that number as the width in inches for your chandelier. For example, if your room is 10' x 16', the sum of those equals 26'. The chandelier should be 26" wide.

To choose the right height size of your chandelier, multiply the height of the room (in feet) by 2.5 or 3. The resulting number is the best size for your room height (in inches). Example: 8 feet (room height) x 2.5 (ratio) = 20 inches.

It must be the right size for the space; too small and it will look dwarfed, while a too-big chandelier can overpower a room. Height: Higher ceilings require a taller. The rule of thumb is to accommodate 2.5-3 inches of chandelier height for each foot of ceiling height.

This can be achieved through the simple calculation of: adding the (L)length and (W) Width of the room and then converting the total into inches. For example, if your room is 10' x 14', which would equal 24', the optimal diameter of your chandelier would be 24".

Measure the space's floor to ceiling distance in feet, multiple by 2.5 will be the approximate height for the chandelier in inches. This rule mainly apply to pendant style chandelier while not necessarily apply to ceiling style chandelier.

Chandeliers will never go out of style because they look good in almost any room. Traditionally, a chandelier would be installed in your foyer or dining room.

Your living room is very possibly the most versatile and oft-used room of your home; the high traffic and flexibility of this room make it a great place to show off a dashing chandelier.

While there are endless options for lighting the contemporary home, from lamps to LEDs and under-cabinet illumination, a chandelier speaks of timeless luxury and will add value as well as style.

Ceiling lighting fixtures can become a bold statement in the room, drawing attention and adding flair. As a result, chandeliers are more decorative and artistic than your standard hanging lamp or pendant lamp, and they take on many different shapes that can be scaled to fit different sized rooms.

The metal or general finish of your living room chandelier can help complement the room's tone even if that specific color does not appear in many other places. The aged brass finish of this light does not appear in any of the primary furniture, rug, or wall art, but similar warm tones are used in each of those areas.

Neutral colors such as black, white, or metallic finishes like silver, gold or bronze can blend in with most color schemes and provide a timeless and elegant look. Bold colors such as red or blue may add a pop of color to a contemporary room or serve as a statement piece.

Consider the following while buying a chandelier:

 *  Space: room size and ceiling height. The choice of chandelier for each contemporary environment -  bedroom, foyer, and living room - depends on the size of the room. ...

2.     *  The function of the chandelier. ...

3.       * The illumination power. ...

4.       * The furnishing style. ...

5.       * The colours of the room.

Bring in a right chandelier to your home and add a style statement to your art &décor.
