Learning to ignore things is one
of the great paths to inner peace.
Research shows that sometimes it's much easier for the brain to do a
task when it knows not what to look for, but what to ignore.
Why we need to ignore?
When peace and harmony are maintained, things will continue to run
smoothly without any delay. Moreover, it can be a saviour for many who do not wish to engage in
any disrupting activities or more. In other words, while war destroys and
disrupts, peace builds and strengthens as well as restores.
How to ignore?
Do not take anything for granted. Try to ignore
things which create barriers in your healing. Try to read books a lot, it
will shape your understanding and it will also provide different aspects of
anything including Life. Ignore the desire for situations to always turn out
the way you wanted.
Learning the skill of critical ignoring will allow you to thoughtfully and deliberately
allocate your attentional resources and disregard the rest. As William James observed,
“The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook.”
Be wise to have peace.
