THREE LIFE LESSONS FROM BRILLIANT BAMBOO

Be like the Bamboo, the higher you grow, the deeper you bow - Chinese proverb.

This proverb gives a needed introduction to bamboo and suggest the humans to follow it.

Bamboo is a symbol of longevity because of its durability, strength, flexibility, and resilience. It survives in the harshest conditions, still standing tall and staying green year-round. When the storm comes, bamboo bends with the wind.
Bamboo is also hollow on the inside, and it grows quite simply. This reminds us that we should never be too full of ourselves and to make sure we keep an open mind and stay open to possibilities of exploration and growth.
With myriad potential uses, bamboo is an essential material for people living in poverty in developing countries. It is widely used as a raw material in industry, in handicrafts, its fibers are used to weave clothes and make paper, and its shoots and sprouts are used for food.
In general bamboo is very durable. The outer layer of the stem is quite dense and strong. Bamboo is both flexible and elastic. As a result items made from bamboo tend to be very resilient and resist breaking when placed under stress.
Bamboo is a sustainable and renewable resource as it continuously spreads vegetatively. A bamboo forest will therefore develop much faster than tree forests. They say that bamboo produces 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees.
 NOTE THREE LIFE LESSON :
  • Don't give up even if you don't see immediate results. Trust the process, grow underground, then shoot through the roof.
  • Focus on giving instead of taking. Don't burn through your resources — create sustainable value instead.
  • Don't do what everyone else does.
