5 POINTS ON TIRUVANTHAPURAM





 1. This Divya Kshetram is in Trivandrum, capital city of Kerala

2. The presiding deity is Ananthapadmanabhan in a reclining posture, and the Goddess is Sri Hari Lakshmi.

3.The scared water is Matsya Theertham and the Sanctum sanctorum is Hemakooda Vimanam.

4.  There are two annual festivals in the temple during the months of March &April -  October &November.

5. The Presiding deity in the temple is the largest in the reclining posture and one has to view from three entrances of the  Garbhagriha to have complete darshan of the Lord.
