A REVIEW & A POEM ON POTATO

The first thing I would like to share is about the  Book review of " Feeding the people, The politics of the Potato by Rebecca Earle"  which is an old blogpost of mine published on 30-7-2020. Got the PDF of the book from Net Galley. Potato is the hero of the book and many interesting aspects are being shared by the Author in this book. This Book is an asset to all potato lovers. For this Indiblogger's indispire I wrote few lines in Hindi  about the Potato- the most loved vegetable.:

आलू की आरती

आलू है सब को भाँति

हर एक में खुल मिल जाती ।

आलू के संग सब रंग खिलता

आलू का स्वाद मस्त रहता ।

आलू की सब्जी या आलू की भुजिया

एक दम जबरदस्त खाना वो बनता ।

सब का प्यारा आलू

न आने देता आसू ।

आलू को उबालो

मसालों को मिलाओ ।

तो लो चटपटा आलू  खालो ।

आसान है बनाना,

हमेशा अपनाना,

सब को खिलाना,

आलू है अपरंपार ॥
