1.    I have nothing to declare except my genius

2.    I make up for being over –dressed by being over –educated

4.     There is no sin except stupidity

5.    The public is wonderfully tolerate. It forgives everything except genius.

6.    There is no such thing as a moral or immoral book.

7.    No artist has ethical sympathies.

8.    Books are well-written or badly written. That is all.

9.    All art is quite useless.

10. It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors.
