Food habits are never static—they evolve with time, age, and awareness. Looking back, I can clearly see how my choices around food have changed for the better. Once upon a time, I enjoyed spicy, salty, and oily treats without a second thought. Chips, papads, popcorn, and pickles were regular companions. But over the years, I began realizing how these small indulgences were affecting my overall well-being.
Today, my plate looks very
different. I consciously avoid hot and spicy foods and prefer light, wholesome
meals. Having an early dinner has become a comfortable routine. Fruits and
protein drinks have taken the place of processed snacks, and my tea and coffee
intake is down to just one cup each day—without sugar and only at home.
Of course, when I go out or visit
friends and family, I happily enjoy whatever is served. Food, after all, is
also about love and connection.
This gradual shift didn’t happen
overnight. With growing age and social awareness, I’ve learned that what we
eat, how we eat, and when we eat matter equally. These conscious choices have
helped me build a healthier lifestyle—one that balances discipline with joy.
