8 STEPS TO PREPARE VELVET CAKE

  


  1. Sieve flour and cream of tartar 3 times

2. Mix soda bi-carbonate in the cold water

3. Cream butter and sugar till it becomes light and fluffy.

4. Add water and soda bi-carbonate

5. Beat eggs separately and add to the mixture gradually beating all the time.

6. Fold in the flour gradually. Add vanilla.

7. Pour into a greased and floured pan.

8. Bake at 175  to 190 degree centigrade for about half an hour. Turn on to a cake cooler.
