"Peace"
is used to describe the cessation
of violent conflict. Peace
can mean a state of quiet or tranquility— an absence of disturbance or
agitation. Peace can also describe a relationship between any people
characterized by respect, justice and goodwill. Peace can describe calmness, serenity,
and silence.
Peace is
the path we take for bringing
growth and prosperity to society. If we
do not have peace and harmony, achieving political strength, economic stability
and cultural growth will be impossible. Moreover, before we transmit the notion
of peace to others, it is vital for us to possess peace within.
Calmness
is the mental state of peace of mind, being free from agitation, excitement, or
disturbance. It also
refers being in a state of serenity, tranquillity, or peace. Calmness can most
easily occur for the average person during a state of relaxation, but it can
also be found during much more alert and aware states.
Living in
peace is about living
harmoniously with yourself, others, and all sentient beings around you. Living in peace is both
an outward and an inward process. Outwardly, it's a way of life in which we
respect and love each other in spite of our cultural, religious, and political
differences.
Eating
right, getting plenty of sleep, exercising, meditating, and practicing “mindfulness
daily life activities” helps
one to be at peace
On a
personal level, peaceful behaviours are kind, considerate, respectful, just, and tolerant
of others' beliefs and behaviors –
tending to manifest goodwill.
They have
a deep understanding of their emotions, and they don't let these feelings
control their actions.
Instead, they handle emotions – both their own and others' – with grace and
understanding. That's why, no matter how chaotic things may seem around them,
they're the picture of tranquility.
A
peaceful person is one who
experiences a state of calm or tranquility. They use their time on what is important to them.
EG: Family or work -they are strategic with their time. PEACEFUL PEOPLE have
the ability to enjoy each moment.
Ceasing
to seek power over people and outcomes in your life is the first major step to
living peacefully. Trying to control people is about seeking to impose your
will and reality on others without stopping to see their side of things.
When you practice to be
peaceful, you will develop a peaceful
attitude. Then you are more creative, curious, self-confident, energetic,
open-minded, empathic, and resilient, find joy in challenges, have more
willingness to forgive, have trust in the process of life, have a disinterest
in judging others, and feel a sense of wholeness.
Then your chances of becoming a peaceful influencer is high. Remember that
the true influencers in our lives are the people closest to us, not those with the largest social media
following. They are the ones who have had the most impact on us, and they are
the ones who deserve our appreciation and gratitude.
