TIPS TO MAINTAIN CLOTHES CLEAN AND DRY IN THIS RAINY SESAON

 

Rainy season is on and its presence can be easily felt. It changes the atmosphere of the surroundings. The temperature gets lower and the environment becomes cool. The rainfall increases the water level in the rivers and lakes so that animals can use this water for drinking. The soil soaks the rainwater which plants use to convert solar energy into nutrition.

In the wet season, air quality improves, fresh water quality improves, and vegetation grows substantially, leading to crop yields late in the season. Rivers overflow their banks, and some animals retreat to higher ground. Soil nutrients diminish and erosion increases.

Like these there are numerous benefits, with its comes the extra work of maintaining the clothes clean and dry. The ideal choice remains the cotton clothes.

The ideal fabric to wear in the monsoon season is cotton, as it is an excellent material for the humid climate and it allows air to flow in and around the skin, creating a cooling effect while keeping you dry. Also, rayon fabric can feel like silk, yet is similar to cotton and linen in its cool and airy construction.

Cotton works well for any season and it is a complete yes for monsoon season. The fabric has some characteristics such as Softness, good absorption capacity, high durability, and quick drying time. On humid gloomy days, it is gentle on the skin and absorbs all sweat easily.

Wear a cotton T-shirt, or a short kurti. Avoid wearing anything denim. If you're heading out to office or a brunch, you don't want to be slogging around in trousers that are all dirty and drenched. Avoid wearing skinny pants or leggings.

Try to iron away moisture, use camphor balls, wash with scented detergents and allow clothes to dry completely _( Add air to speed things up – set a fan on low right next to the drying rack to circulate the air and halve your drying time. Add heat to speed things up – if you've got the heater or radiator going to warm the home, you may as well put the clothes rack right by the heater. Make sure it's fire safe.)
