1. Put sugar, milk, cocoa, glucose and butter in a strong pan.
2. Heat gently untill all the sugar has been thoroughly dissolved.
3. Bring to boil and cook untill it reaches a soft ball consistency.
4. Remove pan from heat and leave it to stand untill all bubbles subside.
5. Add vanilla essence and beat with a wooden spoon untill mixture is thick and creamy
6. Pour into a buttered tin when cool mark the surface & cut into pieces.
