1. Clean, wash and soak rice for half an hour.
2. scarp and grind coconut. Extract milk.
3. Heat fat. Fry sliced onions till brown and crisp . Remove
4. Add cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf and clove along with drained rice, turmeric and fry.
5. Add hot stock, coconut milk and salt.
6. cook till rice is cooked.
7. Remove excess moisture in the oven or by placing live coal on top
8. Serve hot garnished with fried onions.
