The novel reflects many of the social issues and themes of its day, including war, the domestic life of the landed gentry, and questions of gender and inheritance.

ReplyDeleteEach time I read Pride and Prejudice I find something new. Also, there are so many interesting spinoffs and retellings one can spend a lifetime reading all of them.
