KNOW ABOUT AN ANCIENT TEMPLE ON THE GREAT MOUNTAINS & GANGES

 


1*  Nanda prayag is in the Himalayas at 6200 feet height, enroute  to Badrinath from Rishikesh

2. There is a shrine at Joshimath/ Nanda prayag for Lord Narasimha and Vasudeva built by Adi Sankara

3.  The presiding deity is paramapurushan and the goddess parimalavalli

4. The sacred water is Indra theertham  and the sanctum Santorum is Govardhana vimanam

5.   The shrine at Nanda prayag has the idol of Gopala also.
