5 POINTS ON WORLD OZONE DAY



1.  World Ozone Day is observed on 16th of September every year. On this day people from all over the world are expected to join join the Montreal protocol for talks and seminars.

2. This year's theme for the International Day for the Prevention of the Ozone Layer is 'Montreal Protocol Keeping us, our food, and vaccines cool.'

 3. With the constant efforts to save the Earth and Ozone depletion, We all are successful in our endeavors in decreasing the Ozone depletion. All are happy to note about this success. Details  here :https://ozone.unep.org/arctic-ozone-hole-closes

 4. UN secretary General António Guterres 's Message : "The Montreal Protocol and the Kigali Amendment show us that by acting together, anything is possible. So let us act now to slow climate change, feed the world’s hungry and protect the planet that we all depend on."

5. We all need to :

* Use appliances responsibly

* Avoid excessive sun exposure

*  Stick to steps towards slow climate change

* Increase food production and security

* Always GO GREEN in every way

  4. Ozone depletion causes increased UV radiation on earth. Exposure to UV rays causes many skin problems. That's why avoiding sun exposure is better
