FOUR POINTS ON PANAKAM

Today is the festival RAMANAVAMI, Many Indian household offer special pooja to Lord Rama on his birthday today In south India, apart from chanting RAMANAMA, singing RAMA bhajans and reading RAMAYANAM, PANAKAM is offered to the Lord.

 Steps for preparing PANAKAM:
1.    Soak Jaggery in  clean drinking water
2.    When the jaggery gets completely dissolved, add powdered pepper, Elaichi and dry ginger powder.
3.    Mix well and keep it aside for an hour
4.    Then drink as it is or refrigerate &serve cold.
