Being light-hearted
means being free from anxiety, care, or seriousness, and being cheerful
and optimistic. It can also mean being easy going. For example, you
might feel light-hearted when you're with friends and everyone is there to have
fun.
The term "light-hearted"
can also be used to describe something that is intended to be amusing or
entertaining, and not serious. Synonyms of light-hearted
include: carefree, happy, bright, and glad. Something that is
light-hearted is intended to be entertaining or amusing, and not at all
serious.
Someone who is light-hearted
is cheerful and happy. They were light-hearted and prepared to enjoy life.
A light-hearted personality is
characterized by traits such as:
Cheerfulness, Free from care, Optimism
and Easy-going. They often possess a good sense of humor and find joy in
laughter. They may use humor to cope with challenges or to uplift others. Light-hearted
people are often playful and enjoy having fun.
A person can be considered to be
"light-hearted" if they are someone who does not dwell on
problems, does not have a negative outlook on life. A light-hearted person
would tend to think positively, have hope or faith that things are not as bad
as they might appear. They "look on the bright side of life".

together with your heart's desire. Light-heartedness comes when you combine
your creativity with your personal heart's desire or vision.
Being light-hearted and playful
can improve our mood and help us loosen up and let go. Taking time to play
relaxes us, is a form of stress relief, and fights depression. It is good for
our heart/immune system and gives our internal systems much-needed rest.
