Winter season is at its peak in the country and cold has started showing its full effect in the early morning and evening. And its time that we start preparing to protect ourselves from this weather. Though, there are several foods that we can consume to keep ourselves warm and cozy, we will talk about certain fruits that can help us keep healthy. These fruits not only increase the immunity, but can help prevent diseases as well. Here is a list of fruits that we must keep in handy during winter season.

 Lemons, oranges, limes, grapefruits, guavas are most ideal in this season. They are all jam-packed with vitamin C and flavonoids, which have been linked to a lowered risk of cancer, heart disease, and certain disorders when consumed regularly.

 Strawberries are a winter fruit you probably love to indulge in this season, and they have their own health benefits too. Strawberries are good for the skin because they are rich in antioxidants, and they can give your immunity a boost to avoid the usual winter ailments.

 The most popular and easily available fruit is apple.  This fruit is no less than a boon for health. Vitamin C present in it helps in strengthening the immune system.
