 Happiness is a feeling which we all long for and love to have it for ever. Happiness is a choice because every person can choose to make the best out of their circumstances and strive for a happy, joyful life. Happiness is a state, not a trait; in other words, it isn't a long-lasting, permanent feature or personality trait, but a more fleeting, changeable state.

Happiness can be defined as an enduring state of mind consisting not only of feelings of joy, contentment, and other positive emotions, but also of a sense that one's life is meaningful and valued. Happiness energizes us and is a highly sought after state of being.

Typically, happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. While happiness has many different definitions, it is often described as involving positive emotions and life satisfaction.

 Happiness, in psychology, a state of emotional well-being that a person experiences either in a narrow sense, when good things happen in a specific moment, or more broadly, as a positive evaluation of one's life and accomplishments overall—that is, subjective well-being.

 Experiencing happiness is important for our emotional and physical health. A stronger sense of happiness and wellbeing has been shown to lead to better relationships, increase social connection and contribution to the lives of others, as well as contributing to healthier physical wellbeing.

Through four novels that have sold over 700,000 copies, she has become India’s highest-selling woman author. The Happiness Story is her first work of non-fiction through which she shares her learnings and experiences in search of true happiness.

 

With six parts the book establishes a smooth flow of content and information that ensures readers an enriching experience of reading a self-help book with ease.  The topics covered in the book are all the highly essential features to unlock the ways to attain and sustain happiness in our lives. Happiness is all about one's mindset. Contrary to popular belief, happiness does not depend on external factors, as much as it does on internal aspects like perception, mindset and belief system.  The author has done a deep research to provide readers an authentic framework so as to apply the same in their lives for desired results.
