MOTHER'S DAY HURTS MANY

Every coin has two sides” is another way of saying that there are two sides to every story. Both sides can be completely different from one another but they aren't worthless. They need to be known before judging or forming our opinions about a person or a situation.
This can be applied to the celebration of Mother's day today. It was a day with many happy moments spent with my mom. But at the end of the day when I turned to check my twitter account, I found the above image and was sad to read .
I usually think that Mother's Day is a similar effort like other celebrations like Father's Day, Siblings Day, Grandparents Day and others. It is a day which makes people remember the importance and significance of mothers in their life and is observed as a day to give special emphasis to the motherly figures around the world.
But Mental health experts say holidays like Mother's Day can be emotionally triggering for those with strained relationships, those who have lost a child or a parent, and those care-taking for a parent who is ill. These reflect  with the twitter image which made me to think and write  a blogpost in this angle about the Mother's day.
For many around the world this day acts as  a reminder of the loss of a child, of challenges conceiving, or of the loss of their own mothers. And, for these people Mother's Day can stir up feelings of grief, sadness, or depression. These are feelings many of us have experienced, but still remain difficult to discuss.
Mother's Day is usually a day of togetherness, a day of family and celebrating Mom. But it's really not a happy day for everyone. For those who have lost a child, lost their mother or are estranged from their mother, it's a tough day to get through.
Be a support to those grieving people and help  them to come over from the hurt.
