3 POINTS ON WATERWHEEL


 




1.     Water power was first harnessed around 100BC for grinding corn, and later in mills and heavy industry.

2.     Where slow-moving waterfalls from a great height, an overshot wheel is used to push the wheel around as the waterfalls.

3.     An undershot wheel is built where fast moving water passes under the wheel, moving the blades around.
