Elaichi banana (Cardamom banana) is a type mostly grown in Bihar, Bengaluru, and other places. These bananas are said to be far more beneficial than the everyday bananas we consume. They are smaller than regular bananas, and their taste is also slightly different.

Elakki bananas, also known as Yelakki bananas, are a variety of bananas known for their rich taste, firm texture, and bright yellow color. They are a good source of nutrition and are considered a superfood for babies, pregnant women, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts.

 Elaichi bananas generally have a moderate GI, which puts them in the safe category for diabetics when eaten in moderate portion sizes like 1 or 2 daily. Fibre helps to slow down sugar absorption thus stopping sharp blood glucose spikes.

 Growing regions: Grown in Bengaluru, Bihar, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, and neighboring states such as Tamil Nadu. It is a slender, medium-tall plant bearing dark green fruits that turn golden yellow with highly fragrant, tasty, powdery, and firm fruits.
