UNDERSTAND - WHAT LIVING LIFE ON YOUR OWN TERMS IS

Living life on your own terms isn't just about doing what you want when you want it — it's about finding the meaning, purpose and value of your life by reconnecting with the passions and talents that make you the unique and beautiful person you are.

It means giving all you want for what you think is fair and makes sense to you. Doing the things that bring you joy, working for the causes that you believe in, going to the places you want to go, basically experiencing all those things that suit you.

LIFE ON YOUR OWN TERMS MEAN: Doing things on your own terms means choosing your conditions and not accepting terms by default. It's about consciously choosing your terms, rather than doing what other people want.

Here are some tips for living life on your own terms:

·         Take responsibility for your happiness and actions.

·        Set clearly defined goals.

·         Remove toxic people from your life.

·          Be conscious of when terms are helpful and when they are not.

·         Don't let others define what success and failure mean to you.

·        Get to know yourself,

·        Try new things.

·        Connect with your community.

Living life on your own terms can be important because it means living a meaningful life that's fulfilling and happy. It can also mean having the freedom to pursue things that matter to you, such as travel, fitness, volunteering, or hobbies.

Living on your terms isn't inherently selfish. It's selfish if you only consider your own perspective, but if you know who you are and what you are trying to create for your life, and you communicate that clearly, and you collaborate where you can, that's not selfishness.

So, if you wish to live life on your own terms, go ahead.
