The phrase "company of your loved ones" is referring to the people that
you love and who have an important role in your life, such as family, close
friends, or a significant other.
"We enjoy each other's
company" is used to emphasize the level of comfort and fondness two or more people have when
they are in each other's presence.
“Human
beings are an ultra-social species — and our nervous systems expect to have
others around us,” Emiliano Simon –Thomas,, PhD, Science Director of the
Greater Good Science Center at The University of California, Berkeley, tells
NBC News BETTER. In short, according to biology, neuroscience, psychology, and
more, our bodies actually tend to work better when we’re around not alone.
One
study found that both men and women appeared to be more resilient to pain when
they were in the presence of their romantic partner. Moreover, the higher the
romantic partner’s level of empathy, the higher their pain tolerance.
Friends also play a significant role in promoting your overall health. Adults with strong social
connections have a reduced risk of many significant health problems, including
depression, high blood pressure and an unhealthy body mass index (BMI).
Be reliable, thoughtful, trustworthy, and willing to share yourself and
your time. Be a good
listener. Be prepared to listen to and support friends just as you want them to
listen to and support you. Give your friend space.
Surround yourself with family and
friends that bring positivity and happiness into your life. Separate yourself
from the negativity...you deserve to be surrounded by loving and happy people!
