The bright picture of the book caught my eyes and without any delay I rushed towards the book and picked it up before someone grabs it to have a look. This happened in a nearby local book store and with happiness in full I took the book in my hands and read the title “TIMELESS SERIES – SHRI KRISHNA by MAPLE KIDS. It is a children book as cute as a child. I decided to simply read it quickly and keep it in the same place.
The title of the book itself
uncovers the details of the stories inside the book. It has 80 pages finely
divided into 16 chapters with major events in the life of the Lord Shri Krishna.
The narration style is simple yet interesting and informative. It will
definitely keep the children hooked.
Though the pictures inside the
book is in black and white, it is attractive as many of them are giant pictures
dealing the features of the specific characters. This will help the children to
have a clear idea of the image of the mythological characters.
Yamala Arjuna trees, Damodar,
Bakasur, Trinavarta and putana are also included along with the wonderful
childhood acts of Lord Krishna in this book. If parents sit by the side of the
children when they read this book, they can guide them with details in
understanding the reason behind these stories.
Over all the book flows with
loads of excitement, fun and facts from the life of Lord Sri Krishna.
