3 AMAZING WOMEN WITH THEIR SPECIAL POWERS AND TALENTS

 

 International Woman's day is celebrated on March 8th Every year.  A day dedicated to encourage and empower women. These days Women are quite enthusiastic and  moving forward in their lives. They are successful and embracing challenges like never before and creating new heights in their career. Because.....



Here are the three amazing women who did an exceptional work and made all of us proud to be their contemporaries':

1. Ms Reshma Nilofer Naha is the first and only woman marine pilot in India. She is one of the very few women Marine Pilots in the world to navigate in River Pilotage. She navigates ships in river Hooghly, the toughest pilotage waters in the world, piloting ships in and out of ports of Kolkata, Haldia, Budge Budge, Diamond Harbour and Sagar.

The job of a Marine Pilot needs extreme caution, patience, and heightened presence of mind in addition to required knowledge, skill, and practice. Reshma has risen above all odds and has demonstrated strength, resilience and determination.




2. Avani Lekhara  is the first Indian woman to win a Paralympic gold medal.  She began shooting in 2015,  and has since won several national and international titles. She has been supported by ''GO SPORTS FOUNDATION''. She is also the first Indian woman to win multiple medals in a single Paralympic Games. She has been given out of turn appointment as Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) by the Government of Rajasthan.


3. Kala Ramachandran is the first woman to be appointed as police commissioner of Gurugram. She has worked earlier as superintendent of police in Rewari, Fatehabad, and Panchkula districts and  was also on central deputation to Intelligence Bureau from 2001 and headed the North Eastern Police Academy in Meghalaya from 2017 to 2020. She is a 1994 batch IPS officer with a plan to work on traffic management, safety and security for city inhabitants, and boost the opportunities for doing business, in addition to basic policing.
