4 POINTS ON THEATRE

 1. Epic  Theater was a theatrical movement arising in the early to mid-20th Century from the theories and practice of a number of theater practitioners.

2.  Jean Jacques Bernard is associated with "Theatre of Silence" (1920)

3.  The term "The Theatre of Cruelty"  was coined by  Antonin Artaud. It is a surrealist form of theatre theorised by Artaud in his book THE THEATRE AND ITS DOUBLE (1958) 

4.  "Theatre of the Absurd " was a term coined by  Martin Esslin. The term was coined in his 1960 Essay- THEATRE OF THE ABSURD. It designates particular plays of absurdist fiction written by a number of primarily European playwrights in the late 1960s. (Eg; Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett)
