5 POINTS ON BHASA

 1. Bhasa, the well known Sanskrit Dramatist and the father of Indian Drama was the predecessor of  the great Kalidasa.

2. He was not only the dramatist but also a great director.

3. He authored many sanskrit plays among which now only thirteen plays are available. 

 4. Svapna Vaasavadattam, Karnabharam, PratimaNatakam, Dutavakyam,  Madhyama Vyaayogam are famous plays of bhasa.

5. His thirteen plays with stage versions are carefully preserved by Chakyars of Malabar.
