FIVE POINTS ON RUSSIAN SALAD





1.   Peel potatoes, turnips and carrots and boil separately in salted water
2.   Shell peas, string and cut French beans into pieces and boil  till cooked
3.   Mix all the boiled vegetables with mayonnaise sauce
4.   Pile over a bed of lettuce leaves
5.   Decorate with sliced hard -boiled egg and sliced tomato.
